Security & Trust

How Stratum approaches access, separation, and the boundaries of what the software will and will not do — in plain language.

Access is controlled

The Stratum workspace requires a login, and accounts are created by invitation through your organization's administrator — there is no self-serve signup. The public website is fully separate from the private workspace.

Your organization’s records stay yours

Each organization's records are kept separate from every other organization's. Access within your organization is shaped by role, so staff see the surfaces their work requires.

Decisions stay with people

Stratum is designed to support human decisions, not make them. It does not diagnose, predict, rank, or recommend placements — it helps teams see their own recorded understanding clearly.

Pilot data expectations

During pilot preparation, organizations should not enter real, sensitive participant information until the appropriate agreements and internal review are in place. If you are unsure whether your organization is ready, check with your administrator first.

Questions

For security questions or to begin a review with your organization, contact support@stratumone.org. Security and legal review are part of how we prepare every pilot.

Stratum is currently in pilot preparation. Security, privacy, and data-use terms should be reviewed with participating organizations before real participant data is entered.
